How Does SNL Celebrate 40 Years? With An App

NBC is celebrating 40 years with a new app. What will be on it and which phone system has it?

NBC is celebrating 40 years of "Saturday Night Live" with a new app.  The network has launched a free mobile app that promises to deliver more than 300 hours of comedy bits from thousands of "SNL" sketches from over the years.  NBC's "SNL" app is now available for Apple iOS.

A version for Android smartphones will be coming soon.  NBC will air "SNL 40" this Sunday with names like Eddie Murphy, Chevy Chase, Tina Fey and Will Ferrell expected to take part in the celebration.  And, in order to fit those and a plethora of other guests into the special, the network just expanded it.  They went ahead and added on another 30 minutes, so the show will now run for three-and-half-hours Sunday night, starting at 7:00 pm.
