Song You Should Be Listening To: Saosin – “The Silver String”

Anthony Green is fronting Saosin again, after almost a decade and a half. And it seems like they haven't missed a beat.

Back in '03, Saosin's debut album came out and sounded phenomenal. However, lead singer Anthony Green left the band to form Circa Survive in 2004 and Saosin continued on without him.

They still sounded good, but Green has a distinctive sound and vibe. Awhile back, Saosin announced they were getting back together with Green and dropped a teaser about the new album.

5 days ago, they released their first song and video. And damn does it sound good. I don't know if you'd call it post-hardcore or just alternative at this point, but I don't really care. I've seen Circa Survive AND Saosin live, but not with Green at the helm for both bands, but I'd sure like to. Hit up the link above for their tour list.
