There are a lot of discussions and analyses and internet thinkpieces and scholarly journal articles about the concept of "Nature vs. Nurture." What molds us into who and what we become? Are we more affected by the world around us and how it relates to us? Or is there some predetermined, predestined idea as to what we are going to be that's established long before that, in our DNA, or our parents' DNA, or in the DNA of some caveman 12 million years ago that would go on to produce the family tree from which we spring?

I don't know about all that, but I do know that the parents in this story seem to be in the camp of "nature," because they've got high hopes for the combat sports future of their soon-to-be son after they witnessed this bizarre behavior, the likes of which even the hospital staff had never previously seen.
