New York State Police and the U.S. Marine Corps are wrapping up their holiday toy drive that will benefit local children throughout the Hudson Valley.

Last month we shared the news that the State Police and USMC would yet again be joining forces for a massive toy drive set up at all 18 stations throughout Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester Counties. Now in it's final push officials from Troop K are asking for your continued support in donating new, unwrapped toys to our children in need.

The Toys for Tots drive will officially end on December 14th then on the16th, the U.S. Marine Corps will head to the Troop K Headquarters in Poughkeepsie to pick up all the donated toys and distribute them to local children. Just another way to help spread joy to those in need this holiday season.

Last year Troop K was able to collect over 600 toys for the annual United States Marine Corps Toys-for-Tots campaign. For more information about Toys for Tots, or to make a monetary donation, visit http://toysfortots.org/default.aspx .
