On Tuesday December 6th, Brandi will be at the Stewarts Shop on Albany Ave. in Kingston from 4-6pm to help celebrate the return of the Stewarts Holiday Match Program. Now in it's 30th season the fundraising campaign aims to encourage individuals to give back to the community in a big way. The best part of the campaign is that Stewart Shops matches your contributions dollar for dollar, doubling all donations.

“Stewart’s Shops is committed to making all our shops’ communities stronger by supporting local non-profits,” said Stewart’s Foundation President Susan Dake. “The Holiday Match fund drive enables local children’s organizations to help thousands of children year round.”

Lat year the Holiday Match program collected $870,000 from Stewarts customers, bringing the total contributions after the Stewarts March to $1.74 million a record breaking year. With those funds Stewarts was able to donate funds to over 1,500 children charities.

Stewarts Holiday Match will be collecting donations now through Christmas Day across all of it's shops in upstate New York and Vermont. WRRV and our sister stations will be out and about this holiday season helping collect your donations, remember every dollar counts and your donations are matched. It's a win, win.

Local children's organizations who would like to be considered to receive contributions from the Stewarts Holiday Match program can applying online at StewartsShops, com and collect paper applications at Stewart Shops. The deadline to apply is January 31st. Every dollar collected through the Holiday Match Program is donated the local children's charities, funds will be disrupted in March 2017.
