If you're like me, and get your milk from Stewart's Shops, you can expect to pay less.

It was announced by Stewart's that starting Monday, Jan. 5, the price of a gallon of Stewart's milk will be lowered by 30 cents in New York, and the price for a half gallon will be lowered by 16 cents. I know many people are part of their milk club program, and I'm sure this makes them even happier.

Officials from the Northeast Dairy Foods Association said that there is an increased supply of milk in both the United States and around the world, which is the reason for the price drop.

Considering the price per gallon at some of the major supermarkets is over $4, this makes me happy.
