Strokes Local Show
The Strokes have booked their first U.S. gig in more than three years and it is here in NY. They will perform at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester May 31st as a sort of warm-up show ahead of their headlining performance at this year's Governors Ball. The Governors Ball festival gets under way June 6th, with the Strokes scheduled to take the stage on the 7th. Lead singer, Julian Casablancas is in the Governors Ball lineup as well with his new backing band the Voidz. He's expected to release a new album with the Voidz later this year.
