Sullivan County Employee Arrested For Grand Larceny, Falsifying Records

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office arrested a county employee following a routine audit by the County Treasurers office. 

Janice Robertson, 60, of Narrowsburg was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny and Falsifying Business Records, both felonies. Her arrest came after a routine audit by County Treasurers Office turned up missing funds.

A complaint filed in the Village of Monticello Court alleges that Robertson stole approximately $4,500 in cash and then falsified tax payment records to conceal the theft. Robertson was released on $5,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court June 9.
