After a cloudy day on Wednesday and some rain Wednesday night, sunshine will return to the Hudson Valley on Thursday. The day will begin with some cloudy cover, but gradually it will clear and give way to sunshine. The wave of low pressure was weak enough to spread some showers, but high pressure over eastern Canada will push that out. Returning dry and seasonably warm weather to the Hudson Valley for Thursday and Friday.

Temperatures rebound into the 80's, but another low pressure system from the west will bring showers for the weekend. At this point, Saturday looks like the worse of the two days. Let's just enjoy the two days of sunshine, before worrying about the weekend.
Here's the forecast from the National Weather Service:

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, to start then gradually becoming sunny. Expect a high of 82 with a light breeze.

Thursday night: Mostly clear, low 55.

Friday: Mostly Sunny, high near 79.

Saturday: Cloudy, with afternoon showers and thunderstorms. High 72.

Sunday: Partly sunny, chance of showers. High near 84.
