Have you thought about advancing your nursing career by getting a Bachelors in Nursing, but weren't really sure of the path to take to make the next steps?

Good news for you. SUNY Ulster and Empire State College announced last month that they were teaming up to make this degree more accessible to prospective students. Empire State College had previously only been able to offer online learning for the Bachelors in Nursing, but the passing rate had not been that great, because the students did not have the 'face' time that some need to really max out their learning process. Teaming up with SUNY Ulster, will now make this possible. Before this joint program, there was not a Bachelor of Nursing program offered within 100 miles of the Hudson Valley.

According to the Daily Freeman.com this is what a student will need to do to be a part of the program:

In order to be accepted in the SUNY Empire State nursing program, candidates must have a completed an A.S. degree in nursing, possess of an active, unencumbered New York State nursing license and completed an Empire State College admissions application, including an essay.
