Support Local Etsy Shop Owners At CIA Holiday Fair

Tis the season for shopping local!  The Mid Hudson Etsy Makers are setting up shop at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park for a holiday fair this Thursday, December 13th.  From 5 until 7:30pm, stop over to "The Egg" - aka - the Student Dining Commons at the CIA, and visit local Etsy shops to cross some names off your holiday shopping list, or, if you are anything like me, shop for yourself!

There will be food and other handmade quality items to browse, no admission fee either, bonus!

I love supporting Etsy businesses but had never heard of the Mid Hudson Etsy makers group specifically, so I did a little research.  According to their facebook page, the mission of the group is to "grow our businesses and provide the public with high quality products through networking and special events."  The Mid Hudson Etsy Makers "are a team of talented artisans working in the Mid Hudson River Valley. We offer high quality diverse handmade products to the public in various venues."

Looks like a great opportunity to support local artisans, and visit the CIA during the most wonderful time of the year!
