Anyone else kinda freakout at the pictures the NYS Troopers were posting on FaceBook yesterday? Ya know, in the middle of the apparent 6 foot snowfall drop happening up next to the Great Lakes? I saw that picture all over my feed yesterday (I posted it too) and the comments were rather predictable. Paragraph long rants about blankets and fleece pants, coffee and transfusing blood for hot chocolate, thanking the Almighty that we live far enough south to just have the cold weather part of that.

Some people's reactions were slightly different. Like these lunatics. They decided to go surfing.

I've documented my love of doing slightly stupid things. But this just might be beyond the pale. Sometimes I wonder how we've survived as a race with these instincts.
