The teenage boy who is accused of making a terrorist threat on social media against Marist College worked at a Hudson Valley senior-living facility.

The Poughkeepsie Journal reports 16-year old Frank Brink was fired as a server at the Manor Woodside senior-living center in Poughkeepsie. The City of Poughkeepsie teen was hired to work in the dining area at the end of October.

Brink was arrested Friday night and charged with making a "terroristic threat," a felony. The former Poughkeepsie High School student allegedly tweeted two threats directed at Marist College on Twitter.

Police have not confirmed the tweets, but WPDH found the following tweets from the user @NuskiiGang. Thursday evening the user tweeted “@Marist I Strongly Advise You Don’t Attend School Tomorrow. There’s Gonna Be A Big Surprise. You Have Been Warned. @NewYorkFBI” Then on Friday just after 6AM the same user tweeted, “Brb Going To Shoot Up Marist Collage.” The Twitter account has now been suspended.

Following the tweets, Marist college was shut down on Friday. All classes were canceled, academic builderings were locked, and students were urged to stay in their dorm rooms. The college reopened Friday afternoon. The Marist men’s basketball team held their home opener as planned that evening. The Red Foxes lost to Holy Cross 67-64.

Brink was sent to Dutchess County Jail on $50,000 bail or $75,000 bond. He is due back in Town of Poughkeepsie court on Tuesday.
