Police are hoping the public can help after a teen was stabbed at a Dutchess County barbershop.

On Tuesday around 5:15 p.m., City of Poughkeepsie police responded to Adams Barbershop on Main Street for a report of a person who was stabbed.

Responding officers found a 17-year-old man who was stabbed in the left arm, police say.

The unnamed stabbing victim was taken to a local hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening
injuries. The victim did not want police help, according to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
