Shawne Merriman, former NFL star linebacker, went on ESPN 2 to promote an event for his charity that fights homelessness. And then decided he was done with the interview and left.

This is awesome.

See, Bomani Jones and Dan LeBatard are taken aback and have no idea what to do. They were probably told they have a certain amount of time to interview him and, like professionals, they probably prepared that exact amount (or maybe a little more) of questions.

This is one of the few moments when the beauty of being unprofessional shines through; had this been me in their shoes, I would have been excited to not have to lob softball questions at him and gone right back to talking about what beer I'm enjoying this week and professing my love for Katy Perry. Sucks to be professional, fellas.
