The FCC Got a LOT of Complaints About Michael Sam
When Michael Sam was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in this year's NFL Draft, he made history by being the first openly gay player to be drafted into professional sports in America. He also made a lot of people mad.
When he did so, he celebrated the way most people do: kissing someone he loved. In this case, it was his partner.
Well, plenty of people weren't happy about that. So unhappy and offended, in fact, that they sent complaints to the FCC accusing ESPN of indecency for showing the kiss.
