The Hudson Valley Renegades had a great second half of the season and now they are going back to the playoffs.

Hudson Valley Renegades

There will be more baseball for Renegade fans. They wrap up the regular season this week and then it's off to the New York Penn League Playoffs. The Poughkeepsie Journal reports that the Gades got into the post season thanks in part to the weather.

The Renegades clinched a New York-Penn League playoff spot on Tuesday by virtue of the Aberdeen Ironbirds’ game against the Staten Island Yankees getting rained out. The Renegades lost their own game to the Lowell Spinners on Tuesday, 3-2.

The Renegades made it to the playoffs last year, but they didn't get very far. Let's hope that this year's team can go all the way. The NY Penn League website has started to release playoff details and the Renegades first game is Saturday night 5:05 pm at Dutchess Stadium. Tickets are ONLY $5 for the game!

Call the Gades Box office at 845-838-0094 to find out about tickets. Congrats to the Renegades and we hope you have better luck than this guy trying to make it to the ultimate playoff game - marriage.
