After 2 successful Despicable Me movies starring Steve Carrell, it was just a matter of time before the lovable evil minions got their own movie. If you haven't heard, you can expect it to hit theaters in July of 2015.  I enjoyed both of the original films, plus its a nice change to the Toy Story and Cars marathons that seem to happen almost daily at my house.

The Minion movie is actually a pre-quel to the Despicable Me story and will inform us how the Minions came to be. In the 1960s they find themselves without a master. They head off to a villain convention and are vying to be henchmen for the evil Scarlett Overkill (Sandra Bullock). The film will also star John Hamm, Michael Keaton and Allison Janney.

It turns out the Minions are filled with holiday spirit and have a message for you. Check it out in the video below.
