This time of year, the media loves itself some snowstorms. I mean, seriously, there are few things more exciting to the news media than the idea that there will be some kind of massive, potentially disastrous weather event that will allow them to repeat the same stuff ad nauseum.

THIS JUST IN: we might get some snow in 7 weeks. Let's follow the storm with StormTrack 3000.

All right, we've got Steve Stevenson out in the eye of the storm bringing you the latest... get this: he's reporting that people are buying milk, bread, and eggs in anticipation of Winter Vortex Frostmonster Juniper Berry. Thanks Steve. Check back in with us later to see if people are still unnecessarily and irrationally buying the ingredients for French toast.

Just do that over and over for like 3 straight days, you eat up airtime, and because people love to panic and feel like they're a part of something big, they gobble it right up.

With that in mind, I decided to get in on the action, and since we happen to have a fancy new green screen at the radio station, show you that I, too, can be as accurate a weather reporter as we have on television and give you the low down on what we might be seeing this weekend.

Get at me, Weather Channel.
