While most people are completely against Snapchat, I happen to like it. Plus I can take as many pictures as I want, share them and not waste precious space on my phone.

Snapchat is a popular app among teens, and lets be honest, adults alike that gives you the opportunity to take a picture, put a funny filter on it and share with your friends. You can even follow your favorite celebrities and news outlets. Fox News, Good Morning America and BuzzFeed all have accounts that keep you in the loop up to the minute with every day happenings. Of course there are downfalls to Snapchat, like their brand new update.

Late last week Snapchat came out with a Snap Map that lets you see where your Snapchat friends are located. Not just with a geotag, but you can actually see what street your friend is on. Quite honestly, it's a bit creepy and law enforcement is warning parents and children to be vigilant while using the app and its new update. There is a way to prevent your location from being shared and that is by going into Ghost Mode.

To go into "Ghost Mode" access the map by pinching your fingers on the main photo screen. In the top right hand corner there is the settings option. You'll see the Ghost Mode option, once that in enabled no one will be able to see your location. Be safe and happy snapping!
