Start Weeping, Hudson Valley: More Snow in the Forecast This Weekend

If you were hoping for any quick relief after Tuesday's historic blizzard, then you may need to wait a bit longer.

This is the last thing on the minds of the wary folks across the Northeast who are still digging out after 18 to 30 inches of snow fell during Tuesday's massive storm.

This Monday may be the first official day of spring, but winter has decided to stick around for a bit longer. In fact, we may see some more snow and wintry conditions by Friday night and into Saturday. 

Forecasters are saying another system will move into the Northeast late this week, potentially bringing snow and ice. Hudson Valley Weather says the area could see about 1 to 3 inches of additional snow by Saturday.

One big factor will be temperature. If it gets warm enough, then the Hudson Valley might just see rain.  If not, then you better keep the shovels handy. If we're lucky, temps might get close to 40 by Sunday.

The good news is that a few more inches is a drop in the hat compared to what we got Tuesday. The bad news is that meteorologists are saying the cold and wintry weather pattern might hold steady through the end of the month.
