These Four States Are More Fun Than NY, Do You Agree?

Just how fun is the Empire State? See where New York ranks among the rest of the country.

I'm not sure how one can measure fun but Wallet Hub sure tried and they compiled a list of the most fun sates in the country. I don't think there's an exact science but they judged based on the following categories: recreation and nightlife.

Of course New York and California are fun and have a lot of things to do both day and night. However, one of the biggest factors during this study was the cost of the activities.

Here's the list:

1. Nevada

2. South Dakota

3. Colorado

4. North Dakota

5. New York

Are we happy with these results? How does New York beaten by South Dakota? Am I missing something? My only thought that it has to be based on New York's high prices.

I have been to Nevada and Las Vegas is a great time. Maybe I'm biased but I don't see how one city can justify a number one spot on this list.

From the concerts we get to the historical significance and even the mountains, I think New York state as a whole stands as one of the funnest states in the country.
