If you're the type of person who can't get enough speed, the team behind the Triumph Castrol Rocket are your kind of people.

Here's a little backstory from the Triumph North America Youtube:

Triumph held the title of "World's Fastest Motorcycle" from 1955 to 1970 with the exception of a brief 33-day period. The Triumph streamliners to carry world records were Devil's Arrow, Texas Cee-gar and Gyronaut X1, the last being at 245.60 mph (395.28 km/h). Today's bar now sits at 376.363 mph (605.697 km/h).

The 2013 edition Castrol Rocket features Carbon Kevlar monocoque construction with two turbocharged Triumph Rocket III engines producing a combined 1,000+ HP. It is 25.5' long, 2' wide and 3' tall, a true rocket on two wheels powered by methanol fuel and filled with Castrol 4T 10W40 full synthetic oil.

Before I show you the video of the machine in action, take a look at it aesthetically; "Rocket" is about as appropriate a name as you can come up with for this beast. This thing is as powerful as it is weird-looking, and they're hoping to reach some absolutely mind-bogglingly high speeds with it:

So what's it look like in action? I'm so glad you asked! This bad boy gets up to 233 miles per hour on a test run and doesn't even break a sweat:

According to the fine folks over at Jalopnik, the goal is to not only break Rocky Robinson’s 376.156 MPH motorcycle record set in 2010, they're hoping to get this thing going up to 400 MPH. FOUR HUNDRED MILES PER HOUR.

See? I told you it wasn't like any motorcycle you'd ever seen before.
