One of the anchor stores in the Middletown Galleria closed last spring, and the replacement has been announced.

After a much-awaited expansion, Gold's Gym will be taking over the old Sears store space in the Middletown Galleria. Urban Air Adventure Park will also open in the old Sears, according to a press release. An entirely new gym will be built in the 52,000 square foot retail space and will be 30 feet longer than a football field. The second location was announced via Facebook.

The Facebook post states that the gym will be 'world class' and have the most up to date equipment, classes, and facilities for its members. IT will also feature a daycare, like the Newburgh location. People who are members of the Newburgh location will also be able to use the Middletown location.

Urban Air is a Texas-based company. It says the park will have 2,000 square feet of trampoline and adventure park attractions. It will be wall to wall trampoline, dodge-ball courts, the Warrior Battle Beam. It will also have Urban Air Adventure Hub, which is ropes and rock walls. They also announced in the press release that they will be hiring up to 50 people.

Gold's Gym is expected to open in the old Sears of the Galleria at Crystal Run later this year, Urban Air is expected to open in the fall.
