State Police have arrested three Ulster County men after police allegedly spotted them stealing copper wire from the Olivet Center.

New York State Police from Dover Plains charged 45-year-old Daniel T. Yochum of Kerhonkson, Luis E. Rodriguez Jr., 33, of Kerhonkson, and 28-year-old Yoshua Pinto of Ellenville with felony burglary.

Police say around noon on Tuesday, Troopers patrolling the Olivet Center, formerly the Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center, observed a vehicle containing three occupants at the southwestern corner of the structure. Following an investigation, it was discovered that Yochum, Rodriguez, and Pinto had unlawfully entered the building and removed copper wire.

Yochum was remanded in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond, Rodriguez was remanded in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond, and Pinto was remanded in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $15,000 bond.

All three defendants were arraigned at Town of Dover Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail. They are scheduled to appear in the Town of Dover Court on Jan. 29.
