Gosh I love this song. 2003 was a vintage year. Emo and pop-punk forever!

The first song and single off their first major release. THIS is the way to start a career. Yellowcard all full of angst and frustration, opening the song with that awesome little guitar riff. Slamming into the body of the song with full throated pedal distortion and a violin.

Honestly, I've forgotten how much I like this song. It sucks that everything comes out in drips and drabs on the internet now. Imagine opening an album for the first time, and this is what smack you in the face. That's a lasting effect! I really can't overstate how much this set up the entire album, and maybe even a lot of their career.

ONE SONG!

You can hear echoes of it through their later albums, and even into the single they released when they came back from hiatus, "For You and Your Denial".

They're not on tour currently, but I'll be keeping my eyes out for them now. Cause now I miss them. I've seen them live a few times and it's something I want to see again.
