Sure, you've heard of Beck, Gov't Mule, The Avett Brothers, Wilco, and some of the other big headliners playing Mountain Jam this year. But there are so many new artists to discover we wanted to highlight a few you definitely shouldn't miss.

Gary Clark Jr. takes the stage Saturday at 6:15. He is one of the most talented artists on the entire Mountain Jam line-up. He's known for his electrifying guitar work and vocals. He's been around for a while but hasn't exactly been embraced by the mainstream. Yet.

Courtney Barnett plays the main stage Friday at 4pm. She'll be joining us all the way from Australia. Her album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I just Sit was released last year to critical acclaim.

Nahko and Medicine for the People will be on the main stage Friday a little earlier in the day at 2:15. So after you finish setting up your campsite when you get there, head down to the concert field. They incorporate various cultural influences in their music and have toured with artists like Michael Franti and Trevor Hall.
