A routine traffic stop in Dutchess County lead to the arrest of a man on 20 felony charges.

New York State Police from Rhinebeck stopped a car for a vehicle and traffic violation on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Milan. During the stop 30-year-old Lamy Aldophe, of Bridgeport, CT was allegedly found to be in possession of 19 counterfeit Delaware dealer license plates, one of which was attached to the vehicle he was operating.

Aldpohe was charged with 20 counts 2nd-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a class D Felony. He was also charged with possessing a counterfeit Connecticut Driver's License with a false name and date of birth.

Aldpohe was arraigned in the Town of Milan court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail.
