Formed back in 2012, Kaleo is one of those slow burns that seems to hit all of radio like an avalanche all at once. They're got a deep, soulful sound that's very reminiscent of Bon Iver, but with slightly more accessible vocals and a more southern vibe to their music than you might expect.

Originally from Iceland, they call themselves a pop/rock/folk band. They signed with Atlantic Records in 2015, moved to Austin, Texas and started showing up on showcases and "Bands You Need To Know" lists all over the country. SXSW, Esquire, The Fader and plenty more have been talking these guys up for almost a year. The music video for "Way Down We Go" was debuted by Noisey on Vice.

They don't have a ton of history, years wise, but they've got some SERIOUS momentum behind them. And I rather doubt they'll be a one hit wonder.
