Twitch, What Are You Doing

Okay, so I'm a bit late on this one (11 days it looks like) but I just started getting into this. I've never watched anything on twitch.tv before, but I think I'll have to now.

Twitch is a website where a bunch of people will play video games for others to watch. Some people will just watch, but, there is something special going on there too. Remember the old school Pokemon game for Gameboy, Red/Blue? Well, the users of Twitch are playing that live online. It's called Twitch Plays Pokemon.

I'll give you a quick idea of how it works. There are two game modes, Democracy and Anarchy. If enough people type in democracy into the chat, then what happened next has to be voted upon, if more people type in anarchy, then its a free-for-all. I was watching earlier today for a bit while it was in anarchy mode and the guy was stuck in a corner for five minutes. If someone types up the guy goes up, but then if someone types down the guy goes down...you can see how that can be a horrible, horrible circle of frustration.
