Will the Hudson Valley see its third major snowstorm in 10 days?

The good news, as of this writing, it appears no. The bad news? We will see snow and it may impact your Tuesday commute.

Hudson Valley Weather predicts 3 to 6 inches of snow for the Catskills and Taconics with the majority of the Hudson Valley seeing a coating to 3 inches.

“There could be a pocket of heavier snow... but in general a light snow event," Hudson Valley Weather wrote on its website. “So as of now... this looks like a close call, but a near miss... in terms of being the 3rd major impacting storm in the Hudson Valley over the last 10 days.”

Snow showers are possible after 6 p.m. Monday, especially in the Catskills. Light snow could fall east of the Hudson River from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m Tuesday. The best chance of snow comes from 6 a.m. to noon, with snow tapering off after 12 p.m.
