State Police have released more information and the identities of the two workers who suffered severe injuries during an explosion at a Hudson Valley manufacturing facility.

On Friday, State Police from Middletown and members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to Oprandy's Fire Equipment in the Town of Wallkill for a report of an explosion.

When they arrived they found two workers, 23-year-old Frank J. Buono, of Goshen and Christopher Foust, 35, from Warwick, in the rear room of the building with severe leg injuries.

Troopers, along with the assistance of Town of Wallkill officers, utilized tourniquets on both victims while waiting for EMS personnel. Both men were taken by helicopter to Westchester Medical Center and are currently listed in serious condition.

Police say Buono suffered a severe injury to his right leg and Foust suffered severe injuries to both of his legs.

An investigation revealed that Foust was filling a fire extinguisher with air when the tank ruptured
