An unspecified threat placed an upstate New York school on lockdown, affecting a polling place.

The Mohonesen High School was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning, after police received an unspecified threat against the school.  As a precautionary measure, all of the schools buildings were placed on lockdown, including the bus garage, as reported by CBS 6.

During a lockdown, all students, teachers, and other staff must remain in lockable classrooms and offices. All doors and windows are closed and nobody is allowed to enter or leave the building.

Police determined there was no threat and the lockdown was lifted at 1:15 p.m.

During the lockdown, voting for the NY democratic primary was closed until the lockdown was lifted.
