It's always great to see growth in the Hudson Valley and this good be really good for the area.

Star Vodka, owned by Charles Ferri, is considering building a production facility in Espous. According to the Daily Freeman the facility would be on the 27 acres of the former Christian Brothers property which is between 9W and the Hudson River. The site, is one of about ten that the vodka company in considering in New York.

Charles Ferri told the Daily Freeman,

"You really want to be in situation where you’re with people, you’re with a town, you’re with a community that’s behind you. The last thing you want to do is create something in an area that people just don’t want. It’s not worth my time, it’s not worth anyone’s time.”

Star vodka didn't say how long it would be until a decision on the site would be made.
