A Hudson Valley man, with two active warrants, is accused of stealing a number of items from a local Walgreens.

Stony Point Police received a report of a number of items that were taken from a Stony Point Walgreens. Police say an investigation determined that 29-year-old Michael Pagani, of Westown did remove a number of items from the store without paying for it.

A further investigation revealed that the Orange County man was wanted on two active bench warrants in Middletown for similar charges. Pagani was also allegedly found to be in possession of clonzepram.

Pagani was charged with petit larceny, 4th and 5th degree criminal possession of stolen property, grand larceny, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and false personation.

Pagani was released on an appearance ticket for June 7. He was then turned over to the Middletown Police Department to answer the charges associated with his active warrants.
