Unfortunately, every week, there is no shortage of individuals who are wanted by the New York State Police for any number of reasons.

Each week, the New York State Police issue the outstanding warrants and they ask us all to help by spreading the word.  The New York State Police post these warrants on their Facebook page and, while we have highlighted an individual here, you can see all of this week’s outstanding warrants below.

New York State Police Troop F, Highland, are looking for 22-year-old Kyle A. Velders for criminal possession of stolen property.  According to the New York State Police, Velders was arrested after an investigation revealed that he, along with an accomplice, stole a dirt bike from a home in Clintondale and then turned around and sold it in Newburgh for drugs and cash.

He didn’t return to court to answer the charges and as a result, an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest from the Town of Lloyd Court. The Montgomery Village Police Department and Shawangunk Town police are also looking for Kyle Velders. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of this individual should contact the NY State Police ASAP. You should not take any police-action yourself other than to contact the NY State Police at (845) 691-2922.
