Weezer fans can finally mark their calendars.  We have what we have been waiting for.

In the latest "Weezer Wednesday" video, the band announced that its new album "Everything Will Be Alright in the End" will be released on September 30th.  The new clip also previews a song called "Return to Ithaca."

"Everything Will Be Alright in the End" will be the rockers' ninth studio album, and their first since 2010's "Hurley."  Drummer Patrick Wilson described it in an interview with "Entertainment Weekly" as a cross between "The Blue Album" and "Pinkerton."  He explains that it has the "tight structure" of their 1994 debut with a "bit more abandon" like the band's 1996 sophomore effort.
