Before YouTube, public access TV was the source of fun, strange, unpredictable videos. Like this one, which still doesn't have any explanation.

I wish I could tell you more about this video, because if I could tell you more about this video, it would mean that I have any idea what the deal with it actually is and honestly, I don't. And no one online seems to be able to figure out where it came from, who it is, when this took place and, perhaps most intriguingly, why it exists in the first place.

Basically, it's a "goth" dude reciting poetry or perhaps rapping or... well, I don't know. And what looks to be his mom nearby.

The earliest reference to it that I can find is from 2007, and it had to have been after 2002, because of the fact that he's wearing a The Osbournes shirt, a show that didn't debut until then. My god, I can't believe I'm spending this much time trying to figure this thing out.

Actually, I can. That's the kind of thing I use my brain for all the time.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure that this is serious, it might be an intentional attempt at awkward and uncomfortable Tim and Eric style humor.

Either way, it's absolutely awkward and entirely uncomfortable.
