If you live in the Dutchess County area you're probably familiar with what used to be the Grand Union plaza, the Amish Market and the building that housed local staple Molloy's Pharmacy in Hyde Park. You also probably know that all those buildings have been empty for quite some time now.

Nicolas DiBrizzie and Nick Citera, who own the Cosimo's Restaurant Group, proposed plans to turn the old Molloy's Pharmacy into a Mavis Tire. The proposal saw support from the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and one board member. However, most of the members who attended the meeting were opposed to the idea, because their worried such projects will take away from the "historical ambiance of the area."

Preserving the history of Hyde Park is a logical argument, but there has to be a way to bring money to the area. So, what do you think should be put in these vacant lots in Hyde Park?
