What’s Happening This Holiday Weekend in the Hudson Valley

After spending Thanksgiving day with family and friends, keep the fun going with some of the many great events going on in the Hudson Valley to kick-off the holiday season.

Saturday, November 26, 3 pm: Town Decorating Day and Parade of Lights in Pine Plains. This event grows every year as folks collect decorations for the pine trees in town. There will be music, hot chocolate and other sweets to enjoy. The parade will step off at 5. Saturday, November 25- November 27, times vary: The Polar Express returns to Kingston. This is an officially licensed train ride, inspired by the movie and run by the Catskill Mountain Railroad until December 18. Saturday, November 26; 9-2: Festival of Toys and the Union Toy Workshop at the A.W. Buckbee Center, 2 Colonial Avenue in Warwick.
