Saturday, August 27, 5 pm: Fundraiser for Louisiana Animal Shelters, 'A Cause for Paws' at the Town Crier. There will be a concert featuring many Hudson Valley musicians, including John Hall from the group Orleans. A silent auction will also be held. Saturday, August 27, 10-4: Claryville Fire Department Open House, Craft and Vendor Fair. Take a tour of the Fire house, with new and used items for sale, plus hand crafted items as well. Saturday, August 27, 10-3: The 13th Annual Antique Fire Engine Muster & Open House at the Volunteer Firemen's Hall and Museum in Kingston. See antique, vintage, as well as new fire apparatus. Saturday, August 27, 11-4: Crafters' Showcase at the Fullerton Cultural Center on Grand Street in Newburgh.
