What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

The weekend before Thanksgiving and there's probably lots going on at your house, but it may be one of the last really nice weekends we see in a while, so make sure you get out and have some fun. Here are a few events going on, with links to find even more throughout the Hudson Valley.

Saturday, November 19; 10-4: Have your pet's picture taken with Santa at the Dutchess County SPCA. You can tour the adoption center, enjoy the Holiday Market. The Hyde Park Police will be on hand for free child id's. Sunday, November 20; 10-4: Holiday Farmers' Market & Craft Fair at the Roscoe Community Center, Old Rte. 17 in Roscoe. Saturday, November 19; 9-4: Ashokan Center Community Work and Play Day. Every fall, there's a lot of work to do to prepare the grounds for winter. If being outside and getting a little dirty all for a good cause works for you, then join in. Saturday, November 19, 9-3: Quilt Show, Holiday Craft Fair, and Bake Sale at the First Presbyterian Church in Goshen. Enjoy their 8th annual Quilt show with traditional as well as contemporary quilts will be displayed in the sanctuary of the church surrounded by the beautiful stained glass windows. The Holiday Craft Fair and Bake Sale will be  going on at the same time as the show.
