Every year the online wedding planning website, The Knot, does a survey of people who got married the previous year. They ask questions regarding (just to name a few things) the cost of the wedding, including location, cost per person, venue, honeymoon, bridal party costs (including gifts and outfits) etc. Then The Knot, ranks the locations across the US letting people know just how expensive it can cost to have a wedding.

The one trend that they noticed for 2016, this is their 10th year doing the survey, is that couples were spending more on each guest and having fewer guests in attendance than in previous years.

According to the Knot.com, these are the 25 most expensive places to get married in 2016. Notice that five locations of the Top 25 are in New York State. If you would like to compare these numbers to the results of last years survey, click here.
