You are on your merry driving way when all of the sudden, you have to stop the car and wait, because of construction or road work. Wouldn't it be great if you knew about Hudson Valley road work in advance so you could plan out the route you will need to take?

Here is one of those advisories or warnings if you will. Starting August 8, 2016 in the Town/Village of Fishkill there will be a repaving project taking place on Jackson Street from Route 52 to Osbourne Hill Road. Weather permitting, the work will begin on 8/8 and is expected to be completed by 8/12. According to a press release from the Dutchess County Executives Office, that particular stretch of roadway sees about 10,000 cars per day.

There will be flaggers in the area and local residents will still have access to the area, but motorists are advised to take another route through the area.
