I've never been much of a cereal eater. Ironically, despite having worked in morning radio for nearly 8 years, getting up early and having a routine has never been my forte. I kind of try to maximize my time as efficiently as possible; I don't have time to go through a procedure of getting a bowl, dumping cereal into it, pouring milk over it, sitting down, eating it, washing the dishes, and then getting ready for my day. I get up, pour coffee into a travel mug, grab something for breakfast out of the fridge, and run out the door.

Yes, the process of eating cereal is too laborious for me. I know, I'm insane. Plus, I learned from commercials growing up that cereals are supposed to be part of a "balanced breakfast," and as you can probably tell from my issues with having a morning routine, nothing about me is even remotely balanced.

That being said, many people do love cereal, and their voices have been heard. Ranker decided to poll 88,000 people about their favorite breakfast cereals and their voices have been heard:

Frosted Flakes reigns supreme.

Rounding out the top five are Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Honey Nut Cheerios, and Froot Loops.

Broken down by state, what'd New Yorkers choose? Cap'n Crunch! Apparently we not only like straying from the norm, but we also like punishing the roofs of our mouths.
