Who Wants To be A Model?

I know what you're thinking. What's the catch? Actually there is no catch once you understand this is for art projects. Fashion & fitness models do dominate this industry but these aren't the only body types that are being sought after.

The Art Effect is a multi-arts and media center in Poughkeepsie, NY. They are looking for male and female models for their life drawing and digital photography courses. So not only is this for art, it's for education. They are encouraging ALL body types to apply.

That means you can get paid to be a model without having a particular body type standard. This could be therapeutic for those who are afraid to be looked at and judged. But I have a feeling these new artists aren't looking to criticize their models, but rather appreciate the variety in body types they can to work with. It educational for everyone involved.
