Life is too short to work at a job you hate every single day.

I'm not sure what you love or what your passion is but whatever it is there's a good chance you aren't pursuing it. You know how I know? According to a study done on PR Newswire, 87% of people do.

This really made me sad. For those of you who hate your job I'd really like to know a few things.

1. What motivates you to do what you do? Is it money?

2. Can you not find a job in the field that you love?

3. Are you stuck in the current job that you have?

This has always fascinated me. I've had my fair share of crappy jobs but I never settled. I worked as an assistant under writer for a large insurance company in Detroit. The money was great but it was the most miserable experience of my life. I was definitely part of the 87%. I quit, started to work in radio and never looked back.

If you're miserable day in and day out. What the heck is stopping you?
