We've been using a particular four-letter word a little too much this week and I'm afraid we're about to use it a whole lot more in the next 24 hours. We're talking snow and some parts of the Hudson Valley could get a significant accumulation of the white stuff.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and sleet for Northern Warren, Western Greene, and Western Ulster County from 8 am to midnight tomorrow. Elevations above 1500 feet could see 3 to 6 inches of snow with higher amounts possible for higher elevations.

Cities in this advisory include Tannersville, Hunter, Ellenville, Woodstock, West Hurley, Napanoch, West Shokan, Kerhonkson, among others. The snow is expected to develop tomorrow morning and continue into the afternoon and will mix with rain at times throughout the day.

Should this cause any school delays, cancellations, or early dismissals, we'll have the latest information in our Storm Center.
