WoofStock This Weekend in the Adirondacks
Chestertown is going to the dogs next weekend with activities geared toward man, woman, and child’s best friend. Woof Stock will take place June 20-21.
According to Adirondack Woof Stock Chairperson Cindy Mead the new event is an opportunity for current dog owners, or want-to-be canine owners, to travel back to the 60s for a weekend of “peace, paws and music.”Activities over the course of the two days, include:
- Hudson Valley Dock Dogs demonstrations
- Beantown Disc Dogs
- Doggie Fun Zone
- North Shore Animal League American and Adirondack Save A Stray will be available for anyone interested in pet adoption or chip implants.
- Police Canine Demos
- Multiple "Blessings of the Animals" throughout the weekend
- A "My Dog Has Talent" Tent
- A "Burn-Your-Bra" for charity event
- Vendors selling dog (& people) related food and items
- Live Music all weekend
