The town of East Fishkill is turning into a giant foosball table.

Ok, maybe not literally (though, that would be kind of awesome). But a new multi-sports dome called the Sports KingDome is being constructed in the town, and it's going to be the largest one in the entire world.

The idea is that this is a huge training opportunity for local teams of all different sports, whether it's baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, etc. The dome is designed to be resilient, too. It's able to withstand heavy winds and snow that would prove difficult for athletes to deal with otherwise. It's also a more cost-efficient option compared to other stadiums.

It will take several months to build the dome, and then a few more weeks to install it. But it should be all set for use by this fall. Do you think this is a cool idea?
